What is Alphabetical Order?
Alphabetical order is a process of arranging words, names, or things in the sequence of letters from A to Z. This is similar to how words are arranged in a dictionary.
Example: Ant comes before Bee. This is because A comes before B.
If the first letter is the same, then the second letters are compared.
Example: Bee and Bug. So, Bee will come before Bug. Here, the second letters are compared.

Helps children use a dictionary easily
When children know the alphabetical order of letters, they can easily find words in a dictionary. If they learn how to use a dictionary, then they learn new spellings, and their vocabulary gets enriched.
